Maia Ginger AKA Saholy has been described as Black, White, Asian, Jamaican, Filipina, Indonesian and Thai. It has been reported that she is presently living in Indonesia.

Saholy is a name common on Madagascar that was once a French colony. Ethnically the gene pool of the island is half African and half Austronesian (South East Asian/Pacific Islander). Madagascar is also on seafaring trade routes and therefore has had influences from many different nationalities.

Saholy's exotic looks are most likely from a mixture of ethnicities that she may not even be fully aware of the extent.
