David Kreig & Jade |

Edythe Maa was dating Antony Ottaviano, 40, a lawyer at one of Manhattan’s most prestigious law firms, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. The couple used to attend New York City fetish parties together, where Ottaviano would sometimes wear lipstick, a garter belt, stockings and high heels.
David Kreig, 42, a bodybuilding client was obsessed with Jade Vixen. Kreig had posted a video on his myspace page where he said “Jade Vixen - she’s the greatest fetish model since Betty Page!.” He had been stalking her for months after she rejected him. Ottaviano had reportedly urged Edythe to get a restraining order against David Kreig.
Krieg was waiting for the couple outside of Edythe’s home in Philadelphia when the “love triangle killing” took place. He apparently became enraged when seeing her with her boyfriend. After shooting Ottaviano, he forced Jade into his car, and drove her around for several hours. She was able to convince him to let her go, and he dropped her off at a relative’s house. Jade immediately called the police, and they quickly found Kreig and forced him to pull over. After a nine hour standoff, Kreig shot himself.

Maa dropped out of Oyster Bay High School on Long Island during her senior year for "personal reasons." She was named by classmates "the most mis- chievous" and "the most radical" but friends said "She's a very good person and very intelligent." She earned a GED before going on to study chemistry at Stony Brook University.
"Even in high school, she was living with an older man," said one friend of the family, who asked to remain anonymous. "She always wore black."
Another friend said "She's a really good-looking girl, I mean really pretty, but I always saw her with the grimiest, most cracked-out dudes," one neighbor said.
A friend also said that Maa had been considering studying patent law.
