Beginning in late January 2008, intimate photographs of Canadian-Chinese pop icon Edison Chen having sexual relations with various actresses began to surface on the internet posted by a mystery man, "Kira". To date five of these photo sets qualify the actresses to be included in Ginko’s Home for Wayward Asian Girls as full fledged hard core porn stars. Bobo Chan, Candice Chan, Cecilia Cheung, Gillian Chung and Rachel Ngan each have their own room on the site.

In a nut shell Edison dropped his Apple PowerBook off at a repair shop where the technicians down loaded 1,300 nude photographs of Chen and his consorts. Apparently Chen liked to take photographs during intimate moments with his sexual partners, of which 14 were celebrities. It is reported that he privately showed these to a select group of close friends. We at "the home" are eagerly waiting for more photo sets to drop.

As the story continues to develop, the police have the computer and a team of investigators are combing the hard drive. Reports indicate that Edison had over 10,000 photos on this computer. It remains to be seen if

Edison took all these or downloaded some off the internet. The photography run the gamut from tame photos at social occasions to thepornographic.

Maggie Q (李美琪) had one tame photo released showing her holding one of Edisons undershirts. It has been determined that this was a posed picture promoting his clothing line and not part of the scandal.

The latest shocking revelation is that 8 women, daughters of some of Hong Kongs most powerful and wealthy families are involved but their photos or names have yet to be released. Instead the police have released their silhouettes and descriptive code names for each. This has led to widespread speculation on just who these women are and a search for photographs that match the silhouettes.

People are questioning the way the police are handling the investigation. The silhouettes and code names have just added to speculation and rumor. The chart to the left and below show what the police have released and what investigative journalists believe are their true identity.
